Review | Lancome Visionnaire

Do you need something that will correct your unevenness? Fix your large pores? Diminish those wrinkles? If so, than today's review is specifically for you. I will be reviewing another essential item that I use in my skin care regimen...check out my previous review on the Lancome Genifique Youth Activating Serum.

Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector.
What is Visionnaire?
According to Lancome, the Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector is an anti aging skin treatment and is proven to be more resilient. It is specifically designed to propel inside the skin’s layers and prepares the skin for the repairing process. The product claims to remove every sign of wrinkles and reduce all the redness and puffiness from the eye within four weeks of use. The Lancome Visionnaire Advanced Skin Corrector is formulated with LR2412, a unique molecule that has been researched for twelve years. It suits any skin type and is non comedogenic and non acnegenic.
Pricing and Size?
Even though this product is amazing, I am not too fond of the pricing for it. I have two bottles of the 1.7 fl oz of Visionnaire. The pricing is as follows:
  • 0.67 fl oz - $67
  • 1 fl oz - $87
  • 1.7 fl oz - $105
  • 3.4 fl oz - $150
Can you say expensive as hell -- pricing doesn't match with the size, but besides the name the product itself is AMAZING!
How to use it?
Because this is a serum, this is to be used after you cleanse your face, before your moisturizer. Use 1 to 2 pumps and smooth all over the face avoiding the eye area. Use AM and PM, but if you only want to use once to save product I suggest only during the PM so it can do its full work of art. Lancome says this is to be used with the Lancome Genifique serum; applying Visionnaire after Genifique, but you don't have too if it seems like too much.
Packing & consistency?
Visionnaire comes in a nice blue bottle that fades into the sky/ powder blue color. I think it looks simply amazing. From first glance you would think that it comes in a clear glass bottle with the silver detailing, but it's actually a thick acrylic bottle. It comes with a pump dispenser which helps to keep everything sanitary. I love that the pump is easy to use and allows you to really regulate how much product you dispense into your hand.
The consistency of the serum is really nice and smooth. It comes out as a white creamy serum with a slight iridescence to it. Even though it seems to be a thick cream, it absorbs into the skin easily leaving your face smooth and velvety soft.

My thoughts?
I can't get enough of this product. I've been using this for a while now and I must say that I am impressed. Never really was into serums, but after getting the Genifique serum, I was told to try out the Visionnaire and so I did. I'm glad my co-workers advised me to because it's truly amazing. Even though it's expensive as all hell, it does it's job. Within the first night of use, I was stunned at how fast I saw results in the morning.
Pros
  • cute packaging
  • diminishes wrinkles
  • helps to even skin out
  • helps with enlarged pores
  • creamy texture
  • smoothes out my skin
  • results seen within the first couple days
  • slight light reflecting properties
  • non acnegenic
  • non comedogenic
  • bottle can last you up to 3-4 months with the 1 and 1.7 fl oz sizes
Cons
  • expensive; over priced for the amount you get
  • slight fragrance
Overall, I enjoy this product and because I have two of them so I'm not sure if I will re-buy it again. I will determine that upon finishing my second bottle if it's a necessity in my regimen.

Have you tried Visionnaire? What's a HG (holy grail) in your skin care regimen?
