New Hair Cut!

Hello my loves,

I just wanted to come and show you all my new hair cut that I got yesterday afternoon. I really just wanted to get a trim, but the hairstylist saw that I wanted to transition to natural so she cut off about 4 inches of my hair. Here is what my hair looks like as of now:
This haircut was an unplanned hair cut, but it was needed since my hair was already damaged any way. I'm still getting used to this hair cut, but everyone likes on me so far. I guess I'm just use to my hair being at my boobs that short hair feels weird for me, but I'll learn to love it.

I need to learn some hairstyles I can do with this and really get my hair regimen together again...work in progress.

This look may even work for me to start doing tutorials on hair as well as for my new job as a beauty consultant -- let's see how this goes! If you want to see how my hair looked prior to this cut click here or here.

What do you all think of my new do?

MOTD | Beauty Advisor Interview

Good evening my loves,

Just thought I do this quick post telling you all that I am officially a beauty advisor at Macy's now and I'm pretty excited. I got the job right on the spot and I can't wait to start. I really wanted to share the makeup look that I had to do because I think it's very work appropriate for anyone to wear -- even can be worn to school, church, a night and etc. You can customize it to fit your look and emotions as well.
I didn't record a tutorial as lighting still sucks and I don't move until Oct 5th for sure so once I move tutorials and videos will be back up on the youtube channel.

Just as I reviewed the baked bronzer last week (click here), I felt the need to review this oldie, but goodie as well. I recently just became a blush lover and have been dying to get my hands on a few of the Milani Baked Blushes for some time now and I finally got my hands on one and after about 1.5 months of use I think it's time for a review...

NOTW | Spotlight Blues

Morning my loves!

This week's nail design has a combination of color, spots and bling. I decided to go all out and do something that I've never done before and I'm pretty impressed with how the design came out.
I wanted to do something that was wearable for Fall, but wasn't so dull at the same time. I finally got a chance to bust out one my favorite gray nail polishes and also was able to play with my favorite creme blue nail polish as well.
The polishes that I used are as follows:

    • Heels, tank, skinny jeans and a blazer.
  3. Most expensive item in your closet?

Review | Avon Foot Works Beautiful Cherry Ice

Happy Monday my loves!

It's finally the beginning of a new week and the start of me going back to work as a real estate agent (details and explanation coming soon). This morning I wanted to do this review on a product that I've had for over 3 weeks now and absolutely love -- of course I love anything that Avon makes honestly, I've never been unhappy.
Any who, this is on a gift set that I got back in August which came with 6 foot works items for $9.99 which was a steal that I could NOT let pass me by. The first three items are sold separately and not together unless you purchase them in a deal from Avon. Keep in mind -- all of these products are 3.4 fl oz bottles/tubes.

The first product is the Foot Works Beautiful Cherry Ice Exfoliating Foot Scrub.

Avon Haul | September - Part I

Good afternoon my loves!

Today I want to do this haul post on a few items that I got from Avon for less than $20 (I think the order came out to about $22 because of taxes though). I put this order in a few weeks ago and I just got it from my mom yesterday and as usual I put in another order as well (yes, I'm an Avon Addict).

In this order I also got my perfume that was in back order from my previous haul that I posted in August, so I'll begin with that and I'll try to give you all the prices (original and sale price) as well as a link to where it can be purchased.
I finally get settled in my new place on the 21st of this month, so I plan to do a HUGE Avon Collection post in categories to share with you all my Avon goodies...let's jump right in.

The first item did not come in this order, but was sent with this order because it was a back order from my previous order. It's the Secrets to Keep Eau de Toilette Spray:
I got this spray/perfume on sale a while back so I don't remember the price I paid for it when I purchased it, but the original price is $16.50. Avon says that it's "a dreamy blend of fruits and florals. Whispers of sweet apple and juicy strawberry with a passionate heart of jasmine, white musk and warm sandalwood" and I agree! It smells delicious so I plan to buy another one. This is a 1.7 fl. oz bottle and it comes with a cute little charm that is a key -- too cute! If you're interested in purchasing it, click here.

The next few items were all less than $20 minus taxes ...

The first item from this September haul is a 4 piece jewelry set which Avon calls the Chic Embellished 4 Piece Gift Set.
I got this on sale for $9.99, but the original price is $19.99. This is a classic look of diamonds and pearls. It comes with silver-tone with rhinestones and faux pearls packaged in a gorgeous gift box. I purchased this because I really don't have too many silver earrings and I don't own a pair of pearl earrings. Glad I got these -- can't wait to rock them. If you're interested in purchasing this, click here.
The next item is the Foot Works Mocha Supreme Warming Foot Scrub. This just sounded so delicious to me and it warms up by itself.

Challenge | Girly Girl Nail Art - Week #1

Hello my loves,

I know I have been gone for quite some time and that's because of two things:
  1. working as a real estate agent, but I quit due to personal and financial situations; including due to #2 (read below).
  2. moved from NYC to NJ (and still not 100% settled).
I've been feeling like I have been keeping up with my blog or YouTube, but since I'm back to having free time while I re-job hunt I can do more postings and videos. This post is about a challenge that I am embarking on with a few fellow Beauty Blogazons. The challenge is called "Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge" and it's hosted by Lisa of Lisa's Nail Obsession. This challenge runs from Sept 2nd until Oct 21st. Even though I'm a day late, I still wanted to complete the post for week 1.

This is a linkup that she started with other Beauty Blogazons that you can check out here. Below is the overall challenge:
For week #1 which started Sept 2nd, the challenge was: Think Pink. We had to wear our favorite pink nail polish and nail art. This was hard to pick since I'm obsessed with pink lipstick and nail polish, but after checking the little polishes that I do have with me that aren't in storage I decided on the following color:
My favorite pink polish has to be Essie "Mod Square" because it's the perfect pink for any occasion and season. It's loud, but calm; bright but subtle -- I absolutely love it!! I decided to balance the hot pink with a gorgeous barbie pink nail polish by Quirius in "Ok Is Me" check the nail art below:
