Favorites | Top 5 Spring Nail Polishes

Hello my lovelies,

Today is favorite Friday which means I'll be sharing a few of my favorite products with you all. Can you believe summer is only 3 weeks away?! I'm excited as ever for summer to arrive. While we are still enjoying spring I wanted to share my top 5 favorite spring nail polishes....or at least the ones I have access to (about 98% of them are still in storage). This spring I've been really into blues and mints for my nails. They have just been screaming spring to me compared to my usual love of pinks, corals and purples.

Sinful Colors in Sugar Rush
A gorgeous pastel baby blue. I love how creamy this color is and how it compliments my skin so well. I can wear this on my toes or finger nails and look stunning. This polish reminds me of For Audrey by China Glaze, but a much wearable version. I'm not sure if it's the pastel feel or the fact that its more warm and has a hint of gray to it then most blue polishes, but I love applying this. I may have to get my hands on two more bottles soon.

Nicole by OPI in Alex By The Books (Modern Family collection)
A seafoam mint green green that makes my complexion look flawless and golden. The perfect mint color for me!

Nicole by OPI in Selena (Selena Gomez collection)
A pastel peach that is sweet, flirty yet still loud. Mostly where on my down days when I'm not sure which color to wear.

Nicole by OPI in Hit The Lights (Selena Gomez collection)
A true bright yellow that comes off a bit neon when I apply it. It's definitely a fun color and something I usually don't pull off. Yellows usually don't look good on me, but this one looks outstanding.

Essie in Play Date
A true creamy purple color. A basic purple is needed in any collection of nail polishes. I love how it makes my hands look more awake.

Even though I have a few other loves, I've been wearing these shades nonstop. The formula is cream, which I love over shimmer, and they glide on the nails like butter on bread.

Hopefully you enjoyed my favorites and may decide to go get you a few.

What are your favorite spring nail polishes?

Review | Maybelline Color Whispers

Hello my lovely readers and beauty bloggers,

*Keep in mind, these items were purchased prior to me doing the 100 Day Spending Ban....now with that said, back to the regularly scheduled blog post*
Today I will be doing a review on the Maybelline Color Whispers which is another extension of Color Sensational line from Maybelline. I was and still am in love with the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters, so I figured I should give these a try since I didn't try the L'Oreal version.

Maybelline says:
Dare to Whisper. Get truly translucent gel color from Color Whisper by Color Sensational from Maybelline. Pure color pigments suspended in a weightless gel deliver sexy, soft, see through color with a touch of shine, without the heavy waxes & oils found in traditional lip color.
The Color Whispers are a huge extension to Color Sensational line with 20 shades to choose from. A range of bright colors to transparent ones, you'll find a color fit for you.

Price point ranges anywhere from $5.70 to $7.49 USD depending on where you purchase it from.

Top 14 Spring & Summer Pink Lipsticks

Hello my loves...especially my pink lipstick lovers!

Today's post is dedicated to my favorite pink lipsticks for spring and summer this year. I have a range of neon pink to Barbie pink to fuchsia to muted pinks to share with you all. If you're a pink lipstick lover like myself yu would know how hard it is to just pick your top 5 or top 10 favorites, especially when your pink lipsticks take up more than 75% of your lipstick collection. I picked out my top 14 shades compiled mostly of drugstore with a few high-end, so hopefully you enjoy this post!

Why pink? Because it's girly, it's vintage, it can be dressed up or down. It can be bright and bold or soft and subtle. Unlike nudes and reds, it can work perfectly as a nude or a light red by having a pink with red undertones. Pink is just so versatile and I love it!

Lipsticks shown in order of video...

Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Dollhouse Pink
This darling baby is a lovely neon blue-based barbie pink. Matte formula that is extremely moisturizing. When applied to bare lips it applies a bit streaky, but when applied to well moisturized and nourish lips. it glides on like a dream. This is a perfect dupe for Mac Pink Friday limited edition lipstick (Nicki Minaj's first lipstick). Women of Color, don't be afraid -- use a purple or pink liner!! This is NOT for the faint.
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Don't Blink Pink
A bright hot berry pink lipstick and because it's a matte lipstick it comes off a bit neon. I like this because it's not your basic hot pink, it definitely has the extra pop that gives your makeup look that WOW factor. It does have a cool red undertone to it; gorgeous.
Wet n Wild Mega Last Lip Color in Pinkerbell
Can you say sexy?! This is a bright pink with coral undertones; a bit neon. I like to wear this without a lipliner because it is just absoluetly gorgoeus and gives me sort of a sunkissed effect. This is a dupe for Mac Viva Glam Nicki.
Revlon Super Lustrous in Primrose

Review | Coastal Scents Blush Too Palette

Hello beauties!

Today's post is a review of the Coastal Scents Blush Too palette.
If you’re familiar with the original blush palette you would think you know what to expect with the Blush Too palette...not likely! You can see my first impression by clicking here.

Availability: This is exclusive to Coastal Scents

Pricing: $19.95

Coastal Scents Says -
These next generation, pressed powder blushes boast a rich, silky formula for a smooth, even application every time. This assortment of ten striking blush hues ranges from soft lavender to blazing orange, allowing you to create your ideal exposure from sheer to intense color. This versatile palette offers both matte and pearly finished shades to create a natural-looking glow.
Personal Thoughts -
This palette is unlike any blush palette on both the high and low end range (maybe LaFemme and Nars). While I do like the original blush palette, I have to say the Blush Too palette is a major force to be reckoned with! When I first saw the palette online I did not want to purchase it. Why? 1) the original blush palette was too ashy not pigmented enough for me and 2) the photos on Coastal Scents didn’t make the palette seem unqiue, but thankfully I still purchased it. Those photos didn't do this palette justice whatsoever.

Tutorial | Graze Over The Grass

Hi my loves,

Every Tuesday and Thursday, I will post a new video on YouTube, just so that I can stay active and up to date with my subscribers. Today I did a neutral eye with a pop of color on the lower lash line and lips. I wanted to play around with a few of my palettes in my pro kit because I get bored with my personal makeup at times.
*SN: I do sanitize my pro kit makeup before and after use on clients and after I use for a tutorial*

This look can be worn every single day if you want a little glamour and can be intensified into a smoky eye for night if need be. This is just completely universal and was actually created off of a spontaneous whim. I wanted to do a complete matte neutral eye, but I'm not too fond of a matte eye look at all unless it's a colored eyeshadow.
This has to be one of my new favorite eye looks to create.

Portfolio | Sneak Peek Latest Shoot

Morning my loves!

I hope you all are doing extremely well. I know with all that's been going on in my life I'm grateful to just be alive and well.

Today I wanted to share a quick inside look on my portfolio and behind the scenes from my latest shoot (May 5th) with an outstanding team. To start off the theme of the shoot was retro...really 60's styled shoot. The creative team consisted of the following: Photography by Amelia Calderon • Makeup by Trés Beau Glamour (me) • Hair by Nick Shatarah • Wardrobe by Cameron Carpenter.

The models were both outstanding. Both agency represented and both from Europe (Germany to be exact I believe). I had an awesome time doing their makeup and talking with them: Alexandra Costin (Major Model Management) and Bine (represented in Germany, UK, Italy and Scandinavia)

So far I've only received one final image and I absolutely love it.

Beat The Heat

Hello my loves!

Tis the season to be bright, bold and electric. This spring is all about being sweet as candy, but bold and noticed. From pretty pouts to flawless skin to even stepping your fragrance game up to sexy, you will finish reading this post confident in what to have in your personal beauty collection this spring.
 Pretty Pout
Leave your nudes and safe colors at home! Whether you are a lipstick junkie, lip butter lover or lip stain newbie have some outrageous fun this spring (and summer). Don't hold back and be a simpleton, join the rave! Try a neon lipstick on for size such as Maybelline Vivid lipstick in Shocking Coral ($8) or Topshop Makeup lipstick in Bombshell ($18). If you're not fond of lipstick, try a lip butter such as Revlon ColorBurst in Sorbet ($7.49) or even a a lip laquer such as the Bite Beauty Honey Lip Laquer in Ruby ($24). If you're nervous, start off slow with a sheer gloss, Mabelline High Shine lip gloss in Electric Shock ($8) or Revlon ColorBurst lip gloss in Orange Glow ($8), and then bump up to a lip butter or lipstick.
Perfect Skin
During those hot & bothered days you may not want to wear foundation. You may want to stick to mineral or powder foundation, but alas...there is a solution! What you may ask? A BB Cream (Beauty Balm Cream). A BB Cream gives you the ability to hide imperfections while providing coverage, skin treatment and UV protection. Whether you go on the high-end, Shiseido's Perfect Hydrating BB Cream ($33), or on the low-end, Garnier Skin Renew Miracle Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin BB Cream ($12.99), you're bound to find a BB Cream to your liking. Avoid going on the heavy side of things, spring makeup makeup should be light and airy.

Orange Lip Lovin'

Hi my loves!!!!

Here's a quick kiss for you all!
I know it's been forever, but I am still waiting to get a router in the new apartment so that Wi-Fi can work a bit better. Thankfully, I'm at my boyfriend's this weekend so I'm able to do this post for you all. I am joining another beauty blogger, Leticia - Cosmetics Aficionado, for a blog hop she just started based on Orange lipsticks called:
orange-lips
You can read her blog here. Me being a fan of bright, bold lipsticks I just had to join in. I decided to make a "Get Ready With Me" video using one of my new favorite orange lipstick... Maybelline Vivid Lipstick in Electric Orange #880.
