Yes To Cucumbers...Soothing Eye Gel

Hello divas!

Today's post is on skincare -- I will have a full skincare regimen on my blog soon -- mostly focusing on the eye area. I ran out of eye cream about 2-3 months ago and I finally decided to get my hands on a new one. I was looking around for an eye cream that wasn't too expensive, but also gave me a good amount of product to "match" the price. First off, why do eye creams have to be so expensive? About $20+ for a tube or container that is half an ounce.

I know that I am only 21 years, but I believe (and many other pro & freelance MUA's agree) that using an eye cream helps to prevent wrinkles, dryness and help to remove dark circles. My use of an eye cream is mostly preventative rather than repair. I have come accustomed to using an eye cream every morning and night as apart of my skincare routine. Without an eye cream I felt useless and completely slacked on my skincare regimen -- heavily!
Any how, as I strolled along the aisle in Walgreens a week ago I came across a brand called "Yes To..." and was intrigued at the amount of products in the line, the variety and the prices! There were two eye creams available from this brand in my Walgreens; Yes To Cucumbers which was about $16 and Yes to Blueberries which was about $19. Off course I went with the Yes To Cucumbers!
Just a quick run down of the Yes to... line. “Yes to …” is a line of natural products for hands, face, lips and hair. There are 4 different "brands" that you can pick from, and each has different advantages. In terms of the skin care line, Yes to Carrots is for nourishing (dry skin), Yes to Cucumbers is for sensitive skin, Yes to Blueberries is for mature skin, and Yes to Tomatoes is for acne prone skin.

Now, the Yes to Cucumbers has the Soothing Eye Gel which is said to reduce puffiness, brighten dark circles, hydrate the eye area and tighten/cool the skin. For $16 worth 1.01 fl oz of products
The awesome thing about this eye cream (gel) is that you get 1.01 fl oz of product and it comes with a pump...A PUMP...what can I say -- that's simply awesome to me. I don't have to scoop any product out or worry about getting product under my nails.
Tried my best to get a good snapshot of the gel -- it's a bit crappy, sorry.
The eye gel is 99.6% all natural and it's also petroleum, paraben and SLS free! This is also hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested and non-irritating.

The directions are as followed: Gently pat a small amount around the eye area. Use in the morning to help wake up you tired peepers and at night to calm and soothe.
The box says the following: Cucumbers are packed with Vitamins A & C, so they're the perfect calming agent for skin. Toss into the mix skin soothers, like Aloe Vera, Chamomile and Green Tea -- to rebuild, protect and soothe sensitive skin.

I've been using this so far for about a week now and I kind of like it, but I will see after a month of use. If I like this, I will definitely be getting my hands on a few boxes to store. A review will be coming in a month or so!

Quick fact
Putting the soothing eye gel in the fridge adds an extra-special dose of awesomeness!
