Review | Valentia Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer

Today's post is a review on an awesome moisturizer. I was able to yet again work with the phenomenal company Valentia with the release of their newest skincare product. I have reviewed numerous products from them (all of which I love and highly recommend), so I was super excited when I got the chance to review this.

Valentia is a company that is cruelty free, vegan friendly, uses 98% natural ingredients, made in the US and uses sustainable energy. The company sent over the Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer and I can't explain the excitement. I was definitely on the hunt for a new moisturizer since I had just ran out of my old moisturizer.

For $25 USD you get 4 fl oz which can last anywhere from 4-6 months. One thing about Valentia skincare is that their packaging is stunning, minimal and easy. The box is white with gold foil and simple, yet carefully placed font which gives it an elegant feel. The moisturizer itself comes in a gorgeous brown glass bottle with a black pump and clear top. The moisturizer is a thick lotion consistency and it has a beautiful scent. It smells like a blend of citrus and shea butter.

I've had this product for a month and I've used mainly during the morning, but a few times at night as well. Continue reading for my thoughts.

Directions

Apply all over face, neck and decollete. Can be used both morning and night. Apply as the final step after cleansing, toning and serum. Can be used under makeup.

This moisturizer is absolutely amazing! I didn't expect this moisturizer to blow my mind honestly, but I'm so glad it did. First off, starting with the beautiful smell of citrus and shea butter -- just perfect for the mornings because it truly helps to wake me up. The consistency is perfection as it's not too thick or too watery. I do 2 full pumps and then rub this into my face and neck. It feels like butter when I apply it onto my skin -- much like I'm getting pampered at a spa.

I have been using this consistently every day mainly as a day moisturizer. Why? The scent alone just makes this the perfect moisturizer for the morning. It's thick enough to really provide me with the moisture I need throughout the day. The name of this is Pure Glow Brightening Moisturizer and I would have to agree that it does brighten up my skin and give me a glow. I found that it was very useful to have that bit of a glow especially under my makeup -- just was stunning.

As a night moisturizer I wouldn't commit to this simply because it's not a cream. I personally prefer creams for night time use because I love giving my skin tons of moisture at night. However, I did use this for a week total this entire month and I must say that I am impressed with it as a night moisturizer. I did use this in conjunction with their serums (Royal Rose Hydrating Serum or Clear Lift Revitalizing Serum) and it did give me a ton of moisture.

I truly do love this product and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 2-in-1 day and night moisturizer or just any moisturizer in general that has a high end feel, but won't break the bank!
