Review | Valentia Royal Rose Hydrating Serum

Today's post is a review on a phenomenal facial serum. I was given the opportunity to review another new product from Valentia Skin Care. They were kind enough to send me this product for free, so I definitely want to say thank Valentia for that. Valentia Skin Care is a company that is cruelty free, vegan friendly, uses 98% natural ingredients, made in the US and uses sustainable energy.

I received the Royal Rose Hydrating Serum. I have a soft spot for serums ever since I worked in cosmetics sales. They are now essential to my routine and I'm always looking for new ones to try -- especially hydrating ones.

This hydrating serum retails for $35 USD for 1.18 fl oz of product. As usual, packaging for this serum is absolutely beautiful. It comes in their signature white box with gold foil trimming, logo and two beautiful roses etched in gold foil on the box. The box is probably my favorite part of the packaging. The serum itself a white cream with a distinct rose scent. It comes in a glass bottle with a white pump and clear top. The label is white with gold foiling which is stunning. As I stated before in my previous review, the packaging is simple, classic and chic.

Ingredients

Rosa Damascena: One of the most nourishing and skin-friendly natural oils, providing balance, moisture, and a variety of vitamins and minerals to the skin.

Niacinamide (Vitamin B): This potent vitamin has been clinically proven to fade away hyperpigmentation, sun spots, and acne.

Rosehip Seed Oil: Naturally rich in Vitamins C and A, these essential fatty acids work quickly to lock in skins moisture.

Evening Primrose Oil: Provides light, non-oily moisture to the skin, never clogging or irritating the skin.

Bearberry: Reduces melanin production, thereby lightening the skin, revealing a brighter complexion.

This serum, as mentioned above, definitely has a distinct rose scent that I find pleasing. Applying this serum was such a dream. It's a cream, but it's not extremely thick. It blends smoothly and absorbs fairly quickly into the skin. It gives of a cooling sensation which I find absolutely amazing. This does a wonderful job of hydrating my skin. It doesn't feel drying, sticky or oily at all.

I have been thoroughly enjoying this serum. For two weeks, I've used it day and night to test out, but as of recently I've been using this specifically at night so that I can get the full benefits of the hydrating properties and much more. I definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a hydrating serum.
