Coastal Scents Says -
These next generation, pressed powder blushes boast a rich, silky formula for a smooth, even application every time. This assortment of ten striking blush hues ranges from soft lavender to blazing orange, allowing you to create your ideal exposure from sheer to intense color. This versatile palette offers both matte and pearly finished shades to create a natural-looking glow.
Personal Thoughts -
This palette is unlike any blush palette on both the high and low end range (maybe LaFemme and Nars). While I do like the original blush palette, I have to say the Blush Too palette is a major force to be reckoned with! When I first saw the palette online I did not want to purchase it. Why? 1) the original blush palette was too ashy not pigmented enough for me and 2) the photos on Coastal Scents didn’t make the palette seem unqiue, but thankfully I still purchased it. Those photos didn't do this palette justice whatsoever.
I noticed that the Blush Too palette uses a different formula than the original palette and has 10x better pigmentation. The blushes in this palette are much silkier in texture with little to no powdery fall out. They glide on to the skin like butter and are easily blendable and buildable for a more wearable or intense look, which makes them perfect for ALL skin tones, especially for women of color -- very brown girl friendly.

I purchased this palette specifically for my pro kit, but I'm going to have to purchase two more. One for myself and a back up for my kit.
Indepth Swatches & Details
First Row
Blush 1 is a matte light baby doll pink shade with a cool blue undertone; it can come off a bit white. The intensity can be built quite a bit. Most suitable for fair to light/medium skin tones.Blush 2 is a matte dusty mauve shade that applies quite sheer for a nice wash of a purple hue on the cheeks. On me its more of nude, everyday blush because it blends well with my complexion. Most suitable for fair to light/medium skin tones.
Blush 3 is a shimmery bubble gum pink shade with small chunks of gold and pink glitter. This one has a bit of a chalky application, but still a gorgeous color. Most Suitable for all skin tones.
Blush 4 is a shimmery mid toned peachy pink (more pink than peach) shade with a gold sheen. Definitely a dupe for Orgasm blush by Nars. Suitable for all skin tones.
Blush 5 is a matte intense orange with few silver sparkles that don’t transfer to the skin. It can work as a dupe for Taj Mahal blush by Nars or Aruba by Sleek. Suitable for all skin tones.
Second Row
Blush 6 is a vibrant matte lavender which almost comes off as a neon purple shade. This will tend to be more purple on darker complexions. Suitable for all skin tones.Blush 7 is a matte mid toned blue pink shade with a hint of purple. Almost a magenta colored blush just about. Suitable for all skin tones.
Blush 8 is a matte slightly deep raspberry shade with a true red under tone. Suitable for all skin tones.
Blush 9 is a matte warm mocha brown. This is the most versatile shade out of all the colors. This can also be used as a contour for light/medium skin tones. Definitely a dupe for Sahara by Sleek . Suitable for fair to medium skin tones.
Blush 10 is another peachy pink shade with a very light golden shimmer. It’s almost like shade 4 but it has more peach than pink, more red undertones and hardly any golden shimmer in it. Suitable for all skin tones.
What are your thoughts on the Blush Too palette by Coastal Scents?
Those are really pigmented shades!
ReplyDeleteYes they are. They remind me of LaFemme blushes
