My loves, my loves, my loves...
I know I'm gone, but I figured I could do this post while I'm at the hotel!!! This is fashion related post on a bag that I would die to have in my closet! It was seen on the runways for Spring 2013 and I absolutely love it. It is a bit off, but it would be amazing when styled correctly...
I'm speaking of the Tambourine Bags by Proenza Schouler.
You can make all the noise in the world shaking these babies! Whether you're living on the wild side or edgy. there's a bag for you!
For Proenza Schouler's spring collection, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez focused on the coolness of a collage and making it into a fashionable piece. From patchworking different hues of python into a vest to fashioning jackets from contrasting squares of leather to juxtaposing digital prints for graphic dresses. These bags are definitely a work of art.
The tambourine bag were created with a combination of elements...
This bag is called the Mixed Tambourine Bag. It includes printed plastic, leather print pony hair, hologram iguana skin, patent leather and anodized metal tiles for chains. It also contains a carabineer push lock hardware. I love that black and white are the basic colors in this look, but the green and blue adds to the pop. I also like the black inside...very nice. This bag retails for $3,995...yes I did put the correct price. Very costly, but a girl can dream! Purchase this bag here.
They also have the Tambourine Bag in another design as such:
So this bag is called the Square Tambourine Bag. It's a studded printed plastic and leather bag with anodized chain and carabiner push lock hardware. I like the blue and green coloring of the bag. It's reminds me of the beach. The grayish bag reminds me of the city with all the graffiti on it. I don't like the inside of the purse, they should have left it black. This bag retails for $4,695. Purchase bag here.
Both bags were made in Italy.
All I can say is that these are definitely some different bags and every girl should own at least one "intricate" bag in her closet.
What do you think of the Tambourine Bags by Proenza Schouler?
