Project Use It Up 2015 + Beauty Budget

Today I wanted to share with you all my plans for 2015 beauty wise and my beauty budget. Over the years I've realized that I hoard/ collect too many makeup and beauty products that never get used, only get used once or end up going bad and it's a waste of my money. I decided this year will be different because I have to keep track of my expenses.

I decided instead of a No Buy that I will do a Low Buy by giving myself a Beauty Budget and partaking in Project Use It Up which was created by Megan on YouTube.

What I Got For Christmas 2014 - Part 1

I wanted to share with you all what I got for Christmas this year. I wasn't expecting anything in all honesty, but I got surprised with some gifts from my mother, my fiance and an old mentor of mine. I wanted to share the first part with you all.

Post Scheduling, New Posts and More

Hello my loves!

Before I begin with anything else, I want to just say Happy New Year to you all! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and a phenomenal New Year. I enjoyed the time with my family, son and fiance.

I wanted to make this quick post to let you all in on a few new things that are going to be taking place.

YouTube & Blog

I decided that I needed a schedule for when I would post videos on YouTube because I missed making tutorials and wanted to branch out into other things such as reviews, challenges and so forth. The schedule I came up with is every Wednesday and Saturday. With that being said, I am following the same schedule here on my blog. Every Wednesday and Saturday a new post will be published. Some Monday's I may throw a video and/or post up as well if I feel the need.

I will be going through all my old blog posts and deleting a few of them that aren't necessary and I will be re-working old ones as well and writing them over fresh.

A lot of videos from YouTube will be incorporated into this blog so I'm super excited about that.

Freelance

I have decided (or I'm still deciding) on taking my freelance makeup artistry to the next level and doing it full time. I have a few things to set in stone first as far as my esthiology license and business side goes, but I'm looking into taking this thing full force this year.

Personal

This year is going to be a crazy year! My son is turning one, I'm moving, turning 24 years old and I'm going to be wedding planning for next year. In the midst of that I will be freelancing, vlogging, beauty blogging and making beauty videos. I'm so excited.

Overall, 2015 is going to be a great year and new changes are coming to this blog. I'm back full force with so much instore and can't wait to share it all with you!

Airbrush Kit Haul - Part 2

Hello my loves!

I am back with Part 2 to my airbrush kit haul. You can check out Part 1 which includes the compressor and full kit I received as a gift from my fiance. This part of the haul is extra foundation I purchased from Graftobian.

The three sets I got are from Graftobian (my go-to kit brand). I got the Cool #1 set, Warm #2 set and Neutral #3 which is freaking awesome!

The Cool #1 set comes with the Glamaire foundation and HD Glamour cremes in the following colors:

Today I wanted to recreate a look I showed in my last tutorial. It was a beautiful smokey eye with a plum lip, but I wanted to change up a few things and make the lip purple. Check out the tutorial below.

Oh My Gosh!

How are you all doing? How have you been these past 9+ months?! I know I've been gone for way too long. My many reasons are as follows:

• taking care of my son
• pre-wedding planning
• personal growth
• book blogging

and lastly I just got bored of makeup. I blame my third trimester -- LOL. However, I am back and I'm in full effect! I so missed beauty blogging and making videos for the spring and summer, but I'm ready now to get things going.

Over my "hiatus" I began to think about ways to change my freelance business around and things are slowly progressing. It just cost an arm and a leg to rebuild my kit, but it's working.

AIRBRUSH MACHINE

I am so excited and grateful for this gift. I've been talking to my fiance for sometime about airbrushing and he's been pushing me to do it, but I've been hesitating. However, he surprised me by buying me one and I'm so excited to share it with you all!

Side Note

I truly and highly believe that when it comes to an airbrushing it doesn't matter which compressor you get. I've seen people with nail salon compressors doing airbrush makeup. Just wanted to state this before continuing on...

I was inspired to play around with some products I haven't used at all since I purchased them and the fall season. This has become a new love for me and will be my go-to fall look.
