It has to do with the step after cleansing or clarifying your face. First Day At Work...Tomorrow

Hello my loves,

I know that this is a late night post, but I wanted to say -- tomorrow is my first day working at the Lancome counter in Macy's (I start at the Clinique counter Thursday) and I'm pretty excited. Because Macy's has an all black wardrobe look finding an outfit won't be complicated. As far as hair and makeup I'm still stumped. Since my hair is short, I don't know what I can possibly do with it besides a bun. As for makeup, I want to do a vampy lip. I own about 6 vampy purples and deep wine shades that I've never worn, so I figured why not tomorrow.
The look that helped me get the job!
The eye makeup will be really basic -- a nice shimmery eye with a bold, vampy lip. Blush may be purple as well. The lipsticks I'm deciding between are:
  • Wet n Wild in 908C- Sugar Plum Fairy
  • CoverGirl Lip Perfection in Euphoria
  • Milani in Blackcherry
I did realize that Sugar Plum Fairy (908C) and Euphoria are the same color expect that one is matte and another is creamy. I did mix Blackcherry with both and I loved the lip look and so did my boyfriend. Tomorrow I plan to do a get ready with me video (which probably won't be uploaded until the next day) showing you what my outfit was, how I did my hair and my makeup look.

I will also do a full blown motd/ ootd video as well. I don't start my shift until 2:45pm. My morning starts at 5:30 as I will be getting back into Yoga and Meditation early in the morning and I plan to start getting ready around 8:30ish so that I have enough time to record and possibly edit the video.

Any who, let me stop blogging on and just say ciao for now my loves!

My Love of Perfumes...Part II

Good morning my loves!

I decided to at least try and have one post up for today since I have orientation for work at 2pm until 8pm and since I'm up and wide awake, why not do another perfume haul.  I did my first perfume haul on Thursday which I was shocked because my post helped a fellow reader out -- brownie points for me -- you can see the first haul here, but this is another haul!

As I stated in the first haul, I've found some new fragrances that are "impressions" of high end perfumes -- or knock-off's as we call them -- but to be inexpensive and impressions they are AMAZING and closely match the real perfume (I've done my research and smelled the real perfumes). I won't be going into depth about each perfume because a review will be coming on each one individually, but let's just get into the haul shall we...
I went back to Pay Half, which seems to be my holy grail store lately, and I picked three more perfumes since they have the ongoing 3 for $10 deal...yes 3 full size bottles that have 3.3 fl oz of product for a total of $10! Since I already had a list of perfumes that I wanted to get I just picked up these three.

My Love of Perfumes...Part I

Hello my loves,

Today post is about a few new perfumes that I've purchased over the past 2 months of me living in NJ. I will say that I was never a perfume kind of girl, I was more so the body splash diva. However, over the course of this move -- I'm a true perfume lover!

I just wanted to show you all a few perfumes I have been purchasing while I've been out here in NJ. All of these perfumes will be reviewed separately here on my blog and my youtube channel. Here's a quick snap that I took today of the ones that I have so far:
Even though it's not a lot, it is a true start for someone who was never really a perfume woman.

NOTW | Blue Spotted My Tears

Hello my loves,

This is just a normal NOTW kind of post to share with you all my nails and I also did a pedi as well. Now, I started working for Macy's yesterday and because we have to wear all black I decided to opt for bright nails for the first week of work to just liven up my days and I've already gotten a few compliments on them.

I opted for a nice creme blue because I haven't worn a blue nail polish in months and I paired it with a gray to give it that "Fall" kind of appeal. Then I had to add more pops of color with a neon yellow and coral...I am definitely missing those summer nights now...
